SIGGI KALLI
Born and raised in Westmann Islands, isolated from the world. His first LP ever was "Number of the beast with Iron Maiden. But at very early age his mind was taken over by electronic music when he got his hands on it. His first electronic impressions were of course the German Demi-Gods Kraftverk. So he quit playing Tuba in the school-band and has been exploring the electronic field ever since. Gone in every direction witch lead him deeper and deeper. He then found he had an urge to spread his knowledge and excellent taste. So he started Djing mostly at private parties and for loved ones. But soon the word got out and was asked to play for the public. You could say that his star rose over night and suddenly he landed gigs at the best clubs in Reykjavik were people come to dance and to hear exciting rhythms and now he´s well appreciated in the dance scene. He´s been playing live at radio shows such as PARTYZONE and FLEX. Recent work is being one of the head founders of REYK VEEK: REYK VEEK is a collective of Icelandic underground techno artists. The urge to come up with something new and specifically Icelandic draws from simple ideas that for many reasons had not been implemented yet; the global economic turmoil which resulted in the severe financial and social "kreppa" is seen by the REYK VEEK collective as an opportunity to discover and develop the nation's best in underground dance music.
SiggiKalli plays Minimal, Tech house and Techno or whatever he´s up for that moment-something that moves and grooves..
